🎓 BFW COMMUNITY DAY, MEET YOUR WORKSHOP HOSTS! 🖤
We’re excited to welcome Daddyslilkajira to Birmingham Fetish Weekend 2026!
Joining us for Sunday’s Community Day, they’ll be bringing you a discussion based workshop “Mental Health in ageplay”
“I’m Charlie. Ageplay and mental health is a subject I’m really passionate about, and this workshop is my chance to use what I do for a living to give something back to the community.
I have a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Forensic Psychology and Mental Health, and I’m a member of the British Psychological Society. By day I deliver psychological talking therapy in the criminal justice system, working with people affected by adverse childhood experiences (ACEs).
I’m trained in DBT, ACT, MBT, CBT and Schema Therapy.
I’m a long-time edge player and have been on the scene for six years, across D/s, M/k, DDlg and CG/l dynamics. Yes, I have an acronym for every occasion. Expect a relaxed, no-judgement hour, an anonymous question box, and a pocket toolkit to take home”.
“Ageplay can be a space for comfort, creativity, connection, and expression — but it can also bring up big emotional experiences. This 60-minute workshop offers an accessible, non-judgmental introduction to the mental health aspects of consensual adult ageplay, with a strong focus on safety, communication, and emotional wellbeing.
Participants will learn how ageplay functions psychologically, how to recognise healthy dynamics, and how to navigate the emotional landscapes that sometimes emerge in headspace or roleplay”
